1 year old (and mom) approved I have been itching to get back on the road since I had my daughter last year, but wanted to make sure she was well protected. For our last daughter, we purchased , but she is still wearing it, and we remembered how much of a fuss she put up first wearing it. This one put up a little fuss, but after wearing it around the house with her sisters, is happy to put it on. The built in visor on the Me2 was a BIG problem in the trailer since it made it difficult for her to look around. This does not have a visor, and the lets her look around more. The adjustments in the back are a little different and not so bulky as the Giro Me2. They do take a little getting used to, but I think I like these better, since there is no dial adding extra bulk and forcing her head forward when in the trailer. There is plenty of room for growth though, and the adjustment also doesn’t look like it will…

Best baby/kids helmet on the market Bought this one for my 6 month old whose head is too small for this. Fortunately, it comes with extra padding so I’ve been able to add additional padding inserts inside so it fits his tiny little head better.Adjusting the helmet is easy and it’s really well made. I have an adult version of the Lazer helmet and this is really good for a kids version. The straps are well made and the helmet feels safe. It’s got a nice snug fit that makes me feel like my baby will still live if he were to accidentally fall. Highly recommend it over any other kids helmet on the market.

PERFECT fit for small percentile heads! PERFECT fit for small heads! My daughter is on the smaller range for head circumference (30%ile) and finding a helmet that fit her was difficult. She pulled and tugged at the other helmets because they were so loose, but THIS ONE: the first time she had it on she didn’t bother with it the whole ride and it fits perfect! Very sturdy! There is an adjuster inside to get the right fit and it’s secured to the helmet, not by velcro. The straps are thick. HIGHLY recommend!
